WPG n8n – Internal Content Automation and SEO Reporting | WPG

WPG n8n is an internal application operated by the WPG team. It helps the project owner and authorised team members prepare, review and publish content for WPG's Telegram channel.

Content automation

The application:

- Suggests three post topics every Monday at 10:00 Moscow time and on request through the Telegram bot menu.
- Creates a draft post and an image from an approved topic or a topic supplied by a team member.
- Processes editorial feedback, creates new versions and sends materials to the team's Telegram review group.
- Stores the content plan, post versions, statuses and selected publication dates in Google Sheets.
- Publishes approved materials to the selected Telegram channel when an authorised team member requests publication.

A topic supplied by a team member is used directly to prepare a draft. The completed post requires a separate approval before publication.

Why the application uses Google data

Google Sheets and Google Drive: WPG n8n reads the team's selected spreadsheets, adds topics and post versions, and updates statuses, comments and dates. File metadata, such as spreadsheet names and identifiers, may be used to locate and select spreadsheets during setup.

Google Search Console - planned integration: A read-only integration is planned for internal SEO reporting on websites managed by WPG. Once implemented and authorised, it will retrieve search queries, page URLs, reporting dates and search performance metrics, including clicks, impressions, click-through rate and average position. These data will help the team monitor organic search performance. Search Console data and SEO reports will remain within WPG's internal reporting workflow and will not be sent to OpenAI or Telegram.

Google access is granted by the account owner through Google OAuth. Search Console access will be requested when the integration is ready to use.

OpenAI and Telegram

The content workflow sends the topics, draft text, editorial feedback and image prompts needed for each request to the OpenAI API. Drafts, images and review notifications are sent to the team's Telegram group. Approved materials may then be published to the selected Telegram channel.
